Maria Proshkovska (1986) is a conceptual artist and curator from Kyiv, Ukraine. Graduated from the Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a degree in law (LLB) and UAL, Central Saint Martins College (MA Performance: Society). Fellow of Woman in Conflict 1325 Fellowship Programme 2022 (Scotland, UK). Artworks are held in the Central Saint Martins Museum & Study Collection, MAMbo, Shcherbenko Art Center and private collections. Artistic practice focuses on themes of memory, landscapes, post-traumatic growth, and gender-related social issues. Maria works across mediums such as performance, video, and photography, often incorporating elements of disappearance, invisibility, and repetition.
